Kenmore®/MD Automatic Iron and Hydrogen Sulfide Filter
- The 75049 is a new automatic water filter with a high-flow 1″ valve.
- The filter uses a manganese treated media bed to achieve the following contaminant reductions; clear/red water iron up to 15 parts per million (ppm), hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg smell) up to 2 ppm, and manganese up to 5 ppm.
- The filter regenerates automatically using potassium permanganate to clear the media bed.
- The filter is designed for use with water pressure ranging from 40 – 125 psi, and a maximum water temperature of 100 degrees F.
- The comprehensive warranty is one year complete parts and labour, three years limited on the electronics and ten years limited on the mineral tank (excludes the media).
