The filter uses a manganese treated media bed to achieve the following contaminant reductions; clear/red water iron up to 15 parts per million (ppm), hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg smell) up to 2 ppm, and manganese up to 5 ppm.
The filter regenerates automatically using potassium permanganate to clear the media bed.
The filter is designed for use with water pressure ranging from 40 – 125 psi, and a maximum water temperature of 100 degrees F.
The comprehensive warranty is one year complete parts and labour, three years limited on the electronics and ten years limited on the mineral tank (excludes the media).
